Rishi: Beyond the Therapist
I am an absolute nerd at heart that is into motorcycles, dogs, martial arts, tattoos, memes, fashion, comics, games, and physical health. I love architecture (refer to my choice of location at the beautiful art deco building), am obsessed with specialty coffee, yoga and cooking. I make a mean taco and at some point you will get something to eat from my multi-ethnic home if you are a client.
As a young person growing up in a small town, I struggled to make sense of my lived experience of mental health, family violence and neurodivergence. My career has allowed me to label and examine my experience with clinical language, and I wish no young person has to grow up without being able to clearly articulate and manage their early life experience. You don’t always choose the card you are dealt early in life, but you choose how far you can take those cards.
Also, the cutest Frenchie in the world, Mr Otis, comes to the clinic. You can choose to have him in the room with you, if it provides you comfort.

The Meaning of Indus
Our name is a nod to the Indus Valley — one of the oldest civilisations, rooted in mindfulness, language, and learning. We honour these origins by making therapy modern, accessible, and grounded in real science and culture.
