To keep this completely impartial, this is kept separate from our counsellors. If this is relevant to you, please send an email to our receptionist: Sophia Cassar at sophsbusinessacc@outlook.com with a description of your circumstances. It is very normal to feel uncomfortable before your first session. Be assured that we aim to provide warm, non-judgemental care, and will do our best to help you feel at ease.

For the most efficient and effective treatment, the first session generally involves a detailed assessment of your current life situation, your difficulties and any contributing factors and history. You can ask us any questions that you may have and, if time permits, we will discuss with you a plan for your therapy. This is called an Initial Assessment.

Most people feel the benefits of treatment after a few sessions. However, the total number of sessions required depends on several factors. Research indicates that clients typically require between 5 and 15 sessions. However, we do offer longer-term therapy if that is appropriate for you. Some clients love having a regular well-being check-in, and we are happy to provide that service.

After the assessment, you will work with your therapist to determine the best number and frequency of sessions to suit your goals, schedule, and financial situation. Sessions usually begin on a once weekly or fortnightly basis and are spaced out more as you begin to feel better.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any assistance with some specific areas, such as crisis care or providing reports for court, academic exemption, or for insurance purposes. However, our team is happy to provide helpful advice and answers to other questions that fall within the scope of our services.

We look forward to the opportunity to partner with you on your journey to better mental health.
